EDUCATION UNIVERSITY FAIRS & USA ALUMNI FAIRS

The first-ever EducationUSA University Fair was organized in Kosovo by the EducationUSA Advising Center in Kosovo, EdUSA Network, and the U.S Embassy in Pristina on April 14, 2016. The representatives of 14 universities/ colleges from the States presented their academic programs and scholarship opportunities to interested and scholars from Kosovo.
The universities that participated in the EducationUSA University Fair  were American University in Bulgaria, Bentley University Graduate School of Business, Central Penn College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Coastal Carolina University, Minerva School at KGI, New York University Abu Dhabi, Shoreline Community College, The University of Arizona, The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, University of Buffalo, The State University of New York, West Virginia University, Webster University.
Overall there were 2,940 online registrations for the fair and 1525 visitors. The fair was also visited by Kosovo’s Deputy Ministers of Education and USA  Ambassador in Kosovo.

The Second EducationUSA University Fair was organized in Kosovo by the EducationUSA Advising in Kosovo, EdUSA Network, and the U.S Embassy in Pristina on April 3rd, 2017. The representatives of 9 universities/ colleges from the State presented their academic programs and scholarship opportunities to interested students and scholars from Kosovo.
The universities that participated in the EducationUSA University Fair were Minerva Scholars at KGI, University of Redlands, The American College of Thessaloniki Virginia Teach, Savannah College of Arts and Design, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Foothill and De Anza Colleges, University of Colorado, Central Penn College.
Overall;, there were 1078 online registrations for the fair and 1325 visitors. The fair was also visited by Kosovo’s Deputy Ministers of Education and the U.S. Ambassador in Kosovo.

The third EducationUSA University Fair was organized in Kosovo by the EducationUSA Advising in Kosovo, EdUSA Network, and the U.S Embassy in Pristina on April 18th, 2018. The representatives of 10 universities/ colleges from the State presented their academic programs and scholarship opportunities to interested students and scholars from Kosovo. Admissions Representatives present at the EducationUSA University Fair 2018 – Pristina, Kosovo: American University in Bulgaria,  Michigan State University, Northwest Missouri State University, University of Colorado Boulder, Northern Arizona University, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College,  The American College of Thessaloniki (ACT), Valparaiso University, Western, Michigan University, Minerva School at KGI. Over 1,200 students, scholars, teachers, parents from all over Kosovo visited the EdUSA University Fair 2018 – Pristina, Kosovo. The fair was also visited by Kosovo’s Deputy Ministers of Education and the U.S. Ambassador in Kosovo.

The fourth  EducationUSA University Fair was organized in Kosovo by the EducationUSA Advising in Kosovo, EdUSA Network, and the U.S Embassy in Pristina on April 12th, 2019. The representatives of 13 universities/ colleges from the State presented their academic programs and scholarship opportunities to interested students and scholars from Kosovo. Admissions Representatives present at the EducationUSA University Fair 2019 – Pristina, Kosovo: American College of the Thessaloniki, American University in Bulgaria, Anglo-American University, Bucks County Community College, Green River College, Northern Illinois University, Northwest Missouri State University, Pepperdine Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Delaware, Valparaiso University, Truman University, RIT Kosovo (A.U.K). Over 1,023 students, scholars, teachers, parents from all over Kosovo visited the EdUSA University Fair 2019 – Pristina, Kosovo. The fair was also visited by Kosovo’s Deputy Ministers of Education and the U.S. Ambassador in Kosovo.

The fifth EducationUSA University Fair, annual EdUSA official Tour, was organized virtually, in June 2020 with 22 universities and colleges in the USA. The representatives of 22 universities/ colleges from the State presented their academic programs and scholarship opportunities to interested students and scholars from Kosovo. Admissions Representatives present at the EducationUSA University Fair 2020: University of Indianapolis, Winona State University, Pepperdine School of Public Policy, Indiana University Bloomington, University of South Alabama,  Furman University, McNeese State University, Kansas State University, University of Colorado Boulder, Riverside City College, Valencia College, Minnesota State University, Mankato, Wright State University, Webster University, Champlain College, RIT Croatia, RIT Kosovo, Troy University, Northwest Missouri State University, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Snow College.  Over 1,038 students, scholars, teachers, parents were registered.

The sixth EducationUSA University Fair was organized virtually, on September 18, 2021, with universities and colleges in the USA. The representatives of 35 universities/ colleges from the State presented their academic programs and scholarship opportunities to interested students and scholars from Kosovo. Admissions Representatives present at the EducationUSA University Fair 2021:  Franklin Collge,  Stony Brook University,  Bentley University, Orange Coast College, Montana State University, Joliet Junior College,  Trine University, Tennessee Tech University, Texas Christian University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Bellevue College etc.

USA Alumni Fair Kosovo

The first USA Alumni Fair Kosovo was organized during the International Education Week (IEW) by the EducationUSA Ad-vising Center in Kosovo, on November 19, 2015. Overall, there were 39 American and Kosovar alumni from different U.S. Colleges and Universities, also U.S.Embassy representatives and Peace Corps volunteers. The universities that participated in the USA Alumni Fair Kosovo are: John Hopkins University, University of North Carolina, Yale University, Appalachian State University, Emory University, Loyola University & New School for Social Research, Saint John’s University, The Illinois Institute of Art & Roosevelt University, Iowa State University, University of Washington – “Evans School of Public Policy and Governance”, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Montana State University , Rollins College, University of Wisconsin -Milwaukee, Saint Cloud State University, Howard University, James Madison University , University of Arkansas, Marquette University, Augustana University, Northern Illinois University, Texas State University, Wagner College, Tulane University & University of West Florida, University of Oklahoma, University of Richmond, University of California – Berkeley, Westmin-ster College, Florida Atlantic University, Texas Tech University, Penn State, Anglo-American University – Prague, American University in Bulgaria, American University in Kosovo, American School of Kosova, American College of Thessaloniki, East-ern Mediterranean University, US Embassy in Pristina – Public Affairs Office – Educational Programs, American Councils for International Education – Kosovo -KAEF and YES.
Overall, there were 425 student visitors from different municipalities of Kosovo.

The second annual, USA Alumni Fair Kosovo was also organized during the International Education Week (IEW) by the EducationUSA Advising Center in Kosovo, on November 17th, 2016. There were 34 American and Kosovar alumni representatives from different U.S. Colleges and Universities, also U.S.Embassy representatives and Peace Corps volunteers. The universities that participated in the USA Alumni Fair Kosovo are: University of Richmond, Open World Leadership Program, RIT Kosovo, Tulane University in New Orleans -Louisiana, Marquette University in Wisconsin, Consular Chief – U.S. Embassy-Pristina, University of Nevada-Reno, Indiana University, Bowdoin College-Brunswick, Southern Methodist University-Dallas,TX, Iowa Sister States and Universities/Colleges in Iowa, Emory University, UNC-Chapel Hill, University of Washington “UW”, Hult International Business School, AUBG, Missouri University of Science and Technology, University of Colorado at Boulder, John Jay College, ACT, University Wisconsin, Willamette University/Atkinson School of Graduate Management – Salem,Oregon., Anglo-American University -Prague, George Mason University -Fairfax, Illinois Institute of Technology – Chicago, The University of Michigan, LaGuardia College – New York, Brandeis University – Waltham MA, George-town University – Washington D.C., University of South Carolina, American Councils for International Education – Kosovo – KAEF and YES, American School of Kosova and Tufts University.
Overall, there were 584 student visitors from 25 different municipalities of Kosovo.

The third annual, USA Alumni Fair Kosovo was also organized during the International Education Week (IEW) by the EducationUSA Advising Center in Kosovo, on November 16th, 2017. There were 30 American and Kosovar alumni representatives from different U.S. Colleges and Universities, also U.S.Embassy representatives and Peace Corps volunteers. Overall, there were 450 student visitors from different municipalities of Kosovo.

The fourth annual, USA Alumni Fair Kosovo was also organized during the International Education Week (IEW) by the EducationUSA Advising Center in Kosovo, on November 15th, 2018. There were 25 American and Kosovar alumni representatives from different U.S. Colleges and Universities, also U.S.Embassy representatives and Peace Corps volunteers. Overall, there were 400 student visitors from different municipalities of Kosovo.

The fifth annual, USA Alumni Fair Kosovo was also organized during the International Education Week (IEW) by the EducationUSA Advising Center in Kosovo, on November 22th, 2019. There were 20 American and Kosovar alumni representatives from different U.S. Colleges and Universities, also U.S.Embassy representatives and Peace Corps volunteers. The universities that participated in the USA Alumni Fair Kosovo are Public Affairs Office U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Consular Section U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Georgia State University, Wartburg College, Arizona State University, Miami University, UNC Chapel Hill, USAID TLP, University of Iowa, College of Law, University of Rochester, NY, RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), University of Washington – Seattle, Florida Gulf Coast University, University of Washington.

Overall, there were 289 student visitors from different municipalities of Kosovo.

USA Alumni Talk Kosovo

USA ALUMNI TALK. Students, teachers, local and international alumni, USA Embassy representatives participate in the USA Alumni Talk Kosovo 2020 that was organized during the International Education Week 2020. The event was organized virtually. There were three (3) USA Alumni that participated in the USA ALUMNI TALK (Dea Sarqini, Nart Shalqini, Tringa Krasniqi).

Over 81 attendees participated in the virtual event.

The second USA Alumni Talk – Kosovo – a virtual event organized by the American Advising Center – EducationUSA Kosovo – in honor of the International Education Week 2021
Alumni of the College Prep Club at the AAC, who currently are studying in the USA, with full scholarships, and the Fulbright – ETA English Teacher at the AAC, shared their experiences with the successful college admissions process and engaged in discussions with student participants from all over Kosovo who are interested to study in the USA.  The presenters were: Drin Krasniqi – Harvard University, Dielle Duga – the University of Pennsylvania, Artur Vllahiu University of Pennsylvania, Elisa Coker – University of North Alabama

Around 59 attendees were online to get information about USA Alumni.

USA Alumni shared their experiences with the successful college admissions process and engaged in discussions with student participants from all over Kosovo who are interested in studying in the USA.

Distinguished USA Alumni from/in Kosovo – Natyra Agani – Clemson University, Catherine Crouch – Bowdoin College, Ornis Mala – Lake Forest College, and Andi Bytyqi – University of Central Oklahoma – shared their valuable experiences studying in the USA and engaged in discussions with with aspiring students eager to embark on a similar journey to study in the USA
