American Advising Center (AAC) is an official EducationUSA Advising Center in Kosovo supported by the U.S. Department of State through the US Embassy in Kosovo. AAC provides accurate, unbiased, comprehensive information to interested young people and scholars from Kosovo who wish to pursue their education in the U.S and/or accredited American and/or international colleges and universities worldwide.
American Advising Center – EducationUSA Kosovo advisers and staff provides educational and career advising and guidance to interested young people and scholars via presentations, workshops, info sessions, meetings that are organized throughout the country in schools, youth centers, organizations, etc. American Advising Center was founded in 2008 as part of the American School of Kosova with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo.
In 2016, AAC was registered as a non-governmental organization according to the legislation in Kosovo with the purpose of:
– Promoting the American system of education in Kosovo
– Providing accurate, unbiased, comprehensive information to interested students, and scholars from all over Kosovo who wish to pursue their education in the U.S and/or accredited American and/or international colleges and universities worldwide
– Encouraging and enabling the social youth/student activism in the field of education
– Contributing in capacity building and developing of the educational system in Kosovo.

EducationUSA advisers play an essential role in supporting the international student recruitment and internationalization strategies of all accredited U.S. higher education institutions. Their services include organizing school visits and college fairs, both virtually and in person, sharing insights on foreign educational systems and scholarship opportunities, and fostering connections between U.S. and international educational institutions. Through these efforts, EducationUSA strengthens global educational exchanges and enhances the diversity of U.S. campuses.
